Terms of Service

Rushdah Maids & Care Services (herein referred to “us”) is a brand of Rushdah Innovative Resources that provides professional maid and caregiving services, connecting maids and caregivers with clients upon request. And maids/caregivers are herein referred to “employee”. By engaging our services, clients and employees agree to the following terms:

Service Details:

Rushdah Maids & Care Services deploy maids and caregivers upon request by the client. The maids/caregivers are obligated to attend to all specified needs and errands, without engaging in theft, insolence, or entertaining personal visitors while on duty. Living-in maids must declare all personal belongings upon moving in, and maintain good moral ethics at all times.

Obligations of Maids/Caregivers:

• Attend to all designated tasks and errands.
• Provide child/senior care services as required for.
• Refrain from theft, insolence, or entertaining personal visitors while on duty.
• Report any abuse or discomfort to the admin promptly.

Obligations of Clients:

• Treat staff kindly and refrain from any form of abuse.
• Offer three square meals for living-in staff; provide at least one meal for daily-worker staff.
• Allow maids to practice their religious obligations without hindrance.
• Ensure timely salary payments by the 28th of each month.

Pricing and payment:

• A non-refundable administrative fee of ₦10,000 is required after client registration on our website.
• Salary terms are discussed and agreed upon with the client based on service type and location (see salary structure above).
• All payments, including employee salary, are made to Rushdah Maids & Services, and not directly to the maids.

Service Cancellation:

• Any maid found in breach of these terms of service will be withdrawn from the client without pay.
• Non-payment of salary by clients within 7 days from the 28th day of the month will result in withdrawal of maids/caregiver and cancellation service.

Privacy:

• Rushdah Maids & Care Services retains clients’ and employees’ information for service provision purposes only.

Terms of Employment:

• Registration on our website is mandatory for clients and maids/caregivers.
• Salary terms are agreed upon before job offers or service contract (see salary structure above).
• Clients are to make a non-refundable administrative fee payment of ₦10,000 before deployment of service if this was not done at registration.
• A deployment mobilization of 20% of stipulated salary is to be provided to maids/caregivers upon resumption of duty.
• Deployment mobilization fee is refundable only within two (2) weeks after payment in cases where there is cancellation of service owing to bad conduct of employee or withdrawal of employee by us within two (2) weeks.
• Employee’s medical examination report is required before deployment.
• Employees shall provide a guarantor before deployment.
• Job reviews are conducted before salary payments.
• No employee shall be paid should they be found wanting

Disclaimer:

Rushdah Maids & Care Services shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries caused by a maid’s personal character, actions, or willful conduct while performing duties at a client’s premises. Clients expressly acknowledge and agree that maids/caregivers provided by Rushdah Maids & Care Services act on their own will, and the Rushdah Maids & Care Services shall not be responsible for any misconduct, negligence, or intentional actions of the maids.

Clients agree to indemnify and hold Rushdah Maids & Care Services harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to any acts or omissions of the maids during the course of their duties.
